Stories from Crete: Loggia, Heraklion!

One of my favorite monuments to visit and take pictures of when in Heraklion is Loggia. 

Situated in the centre of the capitol of Crete, it is used to house municipal servises. Because I usually am in town during Saturdays, the offices are closed so I've never been able to see what it looks like inside and maybe take a few shots!

Actually on the day I took these pictures I was so absorbed by the greatness of the inner courtyard that I forgot to take a photo of the facade! Anyway I'm sure you won't miss it when passing by.
